I’m simply gobsmacked, take look at this late 1940’s Tissot watch, the delicate shade two-tone dial, those striking bronze-colored numeral’s that have a blown-up shape undoubtedly inspired by the prior Art Deco period. They sparkle and shine at every move, in the light they color a pinkish-bronze, in the shadow the darkest brown, practically impossible to capture on photo.
They shine like mirror’s and they are black outlined.
The 27.7 Tissot caliber looks every bit as good as. The Dennison watch case, was manufactured in England, yet the dial and movement are Swiss, you could call it a marriage of sorts, a very reliable one based on mutual trust and on a solid foundation from both manufacturers.
The Tissot movement has received a full service, is running smooth and keeping good time.
The case is unpolished and all original.
The added strap is a ‘easy swap’ 18mm, chocolate brown.
