Mickey Mouse was created in 1928, by Ub Iwerks. Robert Fred Moore, nicknamed ‘Freddie’ redesign Mickey Mouse in the 1930’s. Mickey Mouse starred in no less than 130 films, in cartoons, comic books, tv series, video games, plus the enormous ongoing merchandising, as if you don’t already know this all. Mickey Mouse is one of the world's most recognized cartoon characters. And let’s not forget his adorable pet Pluto, girlfriend Mimi and best mates Goofy and Donald Duck. Did you know he was actually nominated for ‘Mickey's Orphans’ in 1931 and 'Mickey and the Seal' in 1948 and he won an Academy Award for ‘Lend a Paw’ in 1941. The early Mickey Mouse was kind of scary, through the years he has not only changed in his appearance, but also character wise, he has become much more of a hero and nice guy and less cheeky.
Moving on to the watch at hand…
It is so adorable in my opinion, the dial reads Bradley (Bradley Watch Company), Mickey Mouse and 'Swiss Made'. Now here’s the thing; the movement, if you can call it that, is signed 'Made in the U.S.A.' So, there has been a little rearranging here and there, though it works astonishing well and it is ticking away the time perfectly. You can't miss the rather loud-ticking sound, and you will definitely know the minute it needs to be wound up again. I have never seen another one like it, now why is that not surprising ツ
