Theodor Fahrner named after his father took over the family business in 1883 when his father passed away, he displayed an extraordinary artistic ability, and he soon expelled far beyond his father’s achievements. He brought the business into the lime light and brought in the most creative talented jewelry designers he could find. He soon became one of the most innovative and interesting jewelry designer houses in the whole of Europe. At the Paris World’s Fair in 1900 Theodor Fahrner’s received his very first medal, from then on ‘the sky’s the limit’. They soon began expanding overseas, and it wasn’t long before they sold worldwide. From 1901 on they used the ‘TF’ trademark logo on their jewelry. Nine years later Theodor Fahrner registered the ‘Fahrner Schmuck’ as their trademark. You would assume the curtain would fall after he too passed away in 1919, but fortunately jewelry designer Gustav Braendle stepped in, bought the firm and renamed it ‘Fahner Jewelry’. Gustav Braendle turned out to be extremely successful entrepreneur.
This set or should I say ‘parure’ is breathtaking, magical and timeless…worn together on a festive occasion looks absolutely ‘jaw dropping’ gorgeous, but even worn individually looks stunning. The parure has been so well preserved, the marcasite sparkle at the slightest movement and the purple shades of the Amethysts are breathtaking. The parure is set in sterling silver, and all pieces are marked with the TF signature. Amethyst’s are believed to bring peace, intuition, and spiritual growth into your life…
