New on offer. For some reason rectangular watches appear sleek and sophisticated, modern, more architectural it is also in my humble opinion often more of a statement regarding the time period it was made in, late Art Deco in this case. The tank shape case is untouched brushed stainless steel. The dimensions are approximately 37/31 mm x 23.5 mm. Inside you will find the inhouse Swiss caliber 845 which was launched in 1940, and is the exact data of this watch according to the database using the reference number. The movement 845 has a so called Glucydur balance, this is an alloy that is less prone to temperature fluctuations. Glucydur balances were only used in high grade movements. The black dial has gold indexes and luminated numerals and watch hands, but the most eye-catching aspect is the original letter type used for the Eterna logo. The crystal is made of mineral glass; it protrudes 1 mm above the opening and tapers slightly more convexly towards the center.. All our watches have been carefully seen to by Frank Impens otherwise known as the ‘watch-guru’ in order to give them a second life, third or fourth…
The Eterna is all original, worn but well preserved. We added a striking fabric one-piece strap that suits the watch, as the cream-colored line, enhances the gold color of the index.
