Our vintage watches are sold exclusively online, no shop window, no sales counter, no temptation to browse
for three hours while pretending you’re “just looking”. Most of the vintage watches in our collection have
been cleaned, serviced, regulated and are ready to wear. The exception is our larger collection of New Old Stock
(NOS) watches. Due to the considerable number of ongoing restorations, these watches are serviced after purchase
and payment, before making their way onto your wrist. A few things worth knowing before you fall in love with one:

 Size matters  

Photographs can be deceptive, so please always check the actual measurements in the description.
A watch can look like a dinner plate on screen and turn out to be rather more modest in real life.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, accessories shown in the photographs are not included with the watch.

Water and vintage watches

Vintage watches and water are not a particularly good match. Even if the case or dial proudly claims
otherwise, please consider all vintage watches to be non-water-resistant. A little moisture can cause a lot
of trouble, and water has absolutely no respect for a beautifully restored movement.

Keep it wound

If your watch has a manual-winding movement, we recommend winding it fully once a day.
This helps the watch maintain its most reliable timekeeping. If it has an automatic movement, it
 will wind itself through the movement of your wrist, provided, of course, that you actually wear it.
Even watches need a little exercise.

Our guarantee

All our watches come with a one-year warranty. And when that year is up, you are still welcome
to contact us. We don't suddenly stop caring about a watch just because its warranty has had its birthday.

To polish or not to polish?

Every now and then, someone asks us to polish a watch case. Yes, it can be done. But it is not our
preferred approach. We believe vintage watches should retain as much of their original character
as possible. Scratches, edges, patina and all those little signs of a previous life are part of the story.
Polishing removes material and is irreversible. Once the metal is gone, it isn't coming back, no
matter how persuasive the horologist. For that reason, polishing is not refundable. In short:
we prefer our vintage watches with a little history showing.
